Ah\u00ed, su padre, un m\u00fasico de Jazz, de nombre Jan Van Halen, los incentiv\u00f3 a que fueran m\u00fasicos y fueron, durante muchos a\u00f1os, concertistas de piano. Sin embargo al crecer fueron cautivados por el rock and roll, por lo cual desarrollaron su pasi\u00f3n por este g\u00e9nero, lo que los llev\u00f3 a aprender a tocar nuevos instrumentos.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K9yHHm0oZu0?feature=oembed&amp;wmode=opaque\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe>Al principio, Ed tocaba la bater\u00eda y Alex la guitarra, sin embargo Eddie, aprovechando que Alex sal\u00eda constantemente a fiestas, agarraba su guitarra y la tocaba desde muy temprano hasta la madrugada, Alex cuando llegaba de las fiestas, ve\u00eda sentado a Eddie al pie de su cama, tocando casi 8 horas diarias.
