Por su parte, Pedro hab\u00eda dejado de tocar en el famoso\u00a0<strong>Pat Metheny\u00a0Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTango\u201d fue el primer disco de un flamante contrato de Garc\u00eda con CBS Discos y tra\u00eda los hits\u00a0<strong>\u201cHablando a tu coraz\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cPasajera en trance\u201d y \u201cAngeles y predicadores\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Con perfecto equilibrio compositivo, este\u00a0<strong>mini-album<\/strong>\u00a0de seis canciones incluye dos de Charly, dos de Pedro y dos firmadas en conjunto. En los reportajes que dieron antes del lanzamiento, ambos bromearon al definir el estilo musical del disco como \u201c<strong>donchu<\/strong>\u201d, en alusi\u00f3n al sonido del hit \u201cDont you (Forget about me)\u201d del grupo escoc\u00e9s Simple Minds. Adem\u00e1s, dijeron que \u201cTango\u201d podr\u00eda ser considerado como una continuaci\u00f3n de \u201cClics modernos\u201d, que tambi\u00e9n grabaron juntos en Nueva York.<\/p>\n<p>Cuenta la leyenda que\u00a0<strong>\u201cHablando a tu coraz\u00f3n\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0hab\u00eda integrado el repertorio del proyecto trunco con Luis Alberto Spinetta, y que Charly primero la grab\u00f3 en ingl\u00e9s, pero unas pocas horas antes de hacer la mezcla decidi\u00f3 adaptarla al castellano.<\/p>\n<p>La presentaci\u00f3n oficial del disco fue en cinco funciones con lleno total en la discoteca\u00a0<strong>Paladium<\/strong>, junto al baterista estadounidense Casey Scheuerell, \u00fanico m\u00fasico invitado en la grabaci\u00f3n newyorkina.
